And ok fine, because i dont have a tv.
I remember when this movie first came out it was compared a lot to The Greatest Story Ever Told when it came out in the...fifties? Sixties? Anyway it was compared to that because it was a biblical story and so many famous actors wanted on board, so it had an all-star cast of a similar caliber. And I was imagining the conversation that the agents of almost every actor probably had when pitching the script:
Agent: Hey [famous hollywood actor], I've got a script here for a new animated film coming out, they want you to be the voice of [Biblical character].
Actor: "Wait...like the Bible? You have got to be kidding me if you think I'm going to be part of that hypocritical, oppressive Christian crap! Those people are CRAZ...
Agent: This is about the Exodus story.
Actor: [blank stare]
Agent: From the Old Testament.
Actor: [blank stare]
Agent: Its about Moses, he was Jewish.
Actor: OMG YES!! Christianity is totally last season but the Jews are so in!!! MOSES IS SO HOT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!
